Adam has over ten years’ post qualification experience of advising on legal matters, having been admitted as a Solicitor in September 2008.

After graduating in Law at Southampton University in 2003 he gained five year’s experience before becoming a solicitor, working full time as a conveyancing lawyer dealing mainly with residential conveyancing transactions and completed the final stage of his post-graduate legal training on the weekends at the same time.

He joined the firm in 2009 and has taken a lead role in its succession, advising both his own and former clients of Michael Donnelly following his retirement and subsequently becoming a Director responsible for the financial and structural management of the firm, as well as its Compliance procedures, recruiting new staff and its IT systems amongst other roles.

He has acted for thousands of clients in residential sales and purchases, as well as commercial property transactions in Hampshire and further afield.

He has a strong Commercial Property background having worked for a Legal 500 firm in Southampton and has acted for trustees, Charities, individuals and companies in the sale and purchase of commercial property including retail shops, licensed premises, warehouses and offices, land for development, SIPP sales and purchases, to name a few.

He also acts for residential and commercial landlords, Charities and management companies and has a particular interest in leasehold enfranchisement including collective enfranchisement and lease extensions. He is able to set up companies and tailor articles of association for instance in acquiring freehold reversions to blocks of flats.

Adam can draft planning agreements with the local authority and is able to draft new Leases for both residential and commercial properties and deal with the sale or purchase of businesses.

He liaises closely with our Family Law department and the Wills and Probate department in providing a complete service to clients in implementing trusts of land or other arrangements left in peoples’ Wills, bespoke declarations of trust and living together agreements, leases for life and other services based on the individual requirements of the clients concerned.

He has wide experience and expertise in Property Law as well as other areas and tenaciously pursues the best interests of his clients.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys reading, composing music through digital sampling, playing guitar and spending time with his friends and family. He is a trustee of Gosport Voluntary Action.

Adam is assisted by Lynne Pawley who has successfully completed her legal studies with the National Association of Licensed Paralegals to become a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals.
